About Us

Our Mission

American Youth Sport Martial Arts (AYSMA) endeavors to become the driving force in unifying Sport Martial Arts across America. We do so by providing economic and safe Martial Arts competition to our young girls and boys involved in all styles of and systems of Martial Arts, and by awarding educational scholarships to our top competitors.

About AYSMA

AYSMA encompasses all recognized styles/systems of Martial Arts from around the world; These include American, Chinese, Okinawan, Japanese, Korean, Philippine, South American, and Southeast Asian. The AYSMA is the first all youth sport martial art association that focuses on giving our children the best environment, judges and awards possible, at the same time offering it at a fair entry fee with no spectator fees for parents of the competitor.  The AYSMA is a non-profit corporation registered in the state of Texas.

We have created the AYSMA to ensure three areas of sport martial arts are improved upon. The first, all AYSMA events will be held in quality facilities, with safe floors, ample lighting and in-expensive entry/spectator fees. The second is through educational scholarships being given to the first place winners in the Black Belt Level 15 and older sparring divisions for the young men and women (15 & 16 and 17 & 18). The third is training and paying qualified judges and referees. For this to be accomplished the AYSMA must have the backing of major corporations, they will help to bring attention to our children and their martial arts abilities. The sponsors will in turn ensure we put our best Black Belt competitors through school, improving their minds and therefore their future with a college degree. The AYSMA will grow in stature and respect as America experiences Sport Martial Arts the way it was meant to be and more and more young men and women go to college thanks to the scholarships made possible by our Sponsors.

The AYSMA produces its own events. There is a preliminary goal to host four events across America during the “first years” and to grow to a regular circuit “exclusively for children” holding anywhere from ten to twenty tournaments a year with regional and national finals.  To do this the AYSMA will establish criteria for qualified judges” and the AYSMA will compensate these men and women with a good hourly wage for skilled and experienced referee and center judge positions. The AYSMA will conduct referee and judging seminars on all divisions put on at our events. At the same time the AYSMA must hold its events in the best facilities whether a four star hotel and convention center or an indoor sports arena.

Simultaneously the educational scholarship fund will have to be established and to do that the financial support from major corporations is mandatory. This will ensure that the AYSMA will not be short lived but will continue to grow and award scholarships to children all across America . These Major Corporate Sponsors will in turn help the AYSMA to bring in major sports celebrities to act as representatives at our events and spokes-people for our children and the American Youth Sport Martial Arts. This recognition for the AYSMA will send thousands of parents and their children to our events, enabling the AYSMA to offer even more divisions and better, economical events for our children and offer more scholarships to the teenage Black Belt level competitors in America each year.

The AYSMA is one of the best vehicles for a sponsor or group of sponsors to touch millions of families and their children. Martial Arts are currently one of the top five family fitness activities in America . Making new customers is a plus, becoming a driving force behind the emergence of “Sport Martial Arts in America” as a respected and recognized activity that offers an educational future to our children, will increase the American consumers respect for our “Corporate Sponsors”.

Help the AYSMA help our children receive the education and recognition they deserve.  Become a sponsor today!
